** UPDATED **
Hi Everyone ...

We've confirmed access to the Blissville Airstrip for next Sunday & Monday, May 20 & 21 for our first event of the year. Similar to our last event last year, but spread over 2 days, it will be a open school/practice session on Sunday and timed laps on Monday.

Schedule:
Each day will probably be as follows:
- 9.30-10.30am with registration & setup
- 10.30am - drivers meeting
- 11.00am - cars on course around

Anyone interested is welcome to attend

Fees:
New memberships include the first event (first day included, second day is a separate event) and are $30 for the year's membership. As mentioned, our per-event fee is going to go up to $20 this year, so the combined cost for both days is $50 for new members, $40 for existing 2012 members. If you attended one of our winter events, your membership is valid for 2012.

Location:
The event is going to be at the Blissville airstrip in Hoyt. It's out past the Geary raceway, and here's a google map link to the location. Please be respectful of the homes in the area and arrive in a calm fashion.

Suggestions:
People with their own helmets are suggested to bring it with them. Helmets must be worn by drivers and passengers when on the course. The club has helmets which can be borrowed as well. Also, you must remove all loose items from your car when on the course, as well as the drivers side floor mat if it is not well fastened to the floor, to avoid having it obstruct pedals. Also make sure to top off fluid to ensure proper levels. There is a gas station about 15 minutes from the track if required.

Spectators and visitors are welcome, they just need to sign the waiver when arriving. Anyone entering in the event is expected to help out with control points, and any help offered to setup and tear down before & after the event is appreciated.

Looking forward to our first event, and we'll see everyone there!

::

Welcome to the home of the Fredericton Motorsports Club. Based in Fredericton, NB, FMC is a local club, with members being car driving enthusiasts interested in friendly competition.

Members include people of various ages, backgrounds and skill levels who take part in all club activities. Events are held year round, including winter events. Interested in finding out what we're about? Read through the forums and event results and let us know if you have any questions

Anyone is welcome to attend our events. You don't need a professional race car or even any changes to be completed to take part - many if not all of our members race their everyday vehicles, including Smart cars, pickups, compact sedans and even the occasional sports car.

Our solo events are usually completed with just a single person on the circuit, and safety is always considered when taking part. it's a very fun activity, and we invite people to ask questions, attend the events and see what we're about. Many of our events will conclude in "fun runs" where non-competitive laps are completed, and spectators are encouraged to request a ride around the course - it's a great way to see what it's like.

If you're interested in taking part, keep an eye on our website for event information. We tend to have monthly summer events, during the months of April to November, as well as a 2 or 3 during the winter months, which can be great fun with snow on the ground! Take a look right here!
